On Saturday the 19th of April shoppers are invited to join us from 2pm-4.30pm to watch highly acclaimed pianist Donal Hennessy perform jazz classics live here in the centre.
He is a trained classical pianist and organist with recitals in the National Concert Hall to his credit. He has also worked extensively as a teacher with the Royal Irish Academy, and as a musical director with productions in the Gaiety and the Abbey theatre.
Having worked with well-known musicians such as Rob Strong, Donal Lunny and Liam Lawton, and with a varied repertoire that extends across a broad range of music, Hennessy can appeal to all musical tastes guaranteeing an unforgettable and moving show for all. #CentreLikeNoOther #LoveDublin

Powerscourt Townhouse Centre is excited for Mother’s Day and we have lots going on so we thought we would remind you in case you forgot.
Next Sunday the 30th March see Terrazzo Italia, The Pepper Pot and PYG Cafe serving up lunch and dinner to satisfy your needs just minutes off Grafton Street.
There will also be jazz performances taking placefrom 2-4pm. ‘Jazz at The Townhouse’, will accompany the shoppers and diners and mothers on this special family occasion. Vocalist Kevin Morrow will be featuring songs from the American Songbook, as well as exploring his Latin jazz catalogue, showcasing the talents of two of the Dublin jazz scene’s most established players, creating what must be the most swinging jazz duo in town. Pianist Luke Dunford will also play and has gained a reputation as a highly original, engaging artist with an instinctive rhythmic and melodic feel for jazz, which has made him not only popular with his peers and audiences but also with vocalists as their favoured accompanist.
