Exhibition: Botanical Etchings by Gráinne Cuffe on Display at the Centre
We are delighted to be hosting an exhibition of botanical etchings by Gráinne Cuffe in the Centre with Graphic Studio Gallery. Unique large-scale prints are located in the middle of the Centre, with smaller works on the Top Floor.
Dublin born, Gráinne graduated in Fine Art from the Institute of Art and Design, Dun Laoghaire, in 1979. Her post graduate training was in etching and lithography at both Graphic Studio Dublin and Black Church Print Studio Dublin. In 1984 she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study Lithography at Tamarind Institute, New Mexico. In 1986 she won an Italian Government Scholarship to study etching under Giorgio Upiglio in Milan. In 1989 she gained a post graduate degree in etching at Central St. Martin’s, London, where she studied under Norman Ackroyd.
She is also a member of Graphic Studio Dublin and Fins Graefisk Vaerksted, Denmark. Gráinne exhibits regularly in group shows at Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin. She is a frequent exhibitor at the Royal Hibernian Academy Summer show, and the Royal Academy Summer Show, Picadilly, London.
